Marcus Rashford Eyes a Life Outside Man United

Marcus Rashford has hinted at a possible exit from Manchester United, stating that he is “ready for a new challenge.”

In a recent interview with a local publication, the 27-year-old forward expressed disappointment about being excluded from the squad for the Red Devils’ 2-1 recent derby victory over Manchester City, although coach Ruben Amorim confirmed it wasn’t because of a disciplinary issue.

Rashford, who has scored 138 goals in 426 appearances since joining United’s academy at age seven, stated his intention to leave on amicable terms.

“When I leave, it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings.’ I don’t want to make things worse for the club,” he remarked.

Reports suggest Rashford may attract interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, including Al-Nassr, where former Man U teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, currently plays.

However, Rashford is reportedly more inclined to remain in elite European competition, with links to Paris Saint-Germain quietly emerging.

United’s asking price for Rashford has reportedly dropped to £40 million, but his £325 000-a-week contract complicates potential moves, especially within Europe.

Amid speculation, he missed training this week due to illness, leaving Amorim to manage the fallout. While reiterating belief in Rashford’s potential, the 39-year-old football boss emphasised team unity, saying: “The team is more important than the individual.”
